Proposed Amendment to the 2000-2007 Forest Development Plan

Ka:'yu:'k't'h'/Che:k:tles7et'h' First Nation, invites comments on a proposed amendment to the 2000-2007 Forest Development Plan (FDP) for Woodlot Licence W1877 at Chamiis Bay. 

The proposed amendment adds additional cutblocks to the plan to allow for harvesting operations in 2008.

This proposed amendment shows the location and development of proposed harvesting, road development, maintenance and deactivation.  The amendment also describes measures to protect other forest resource values in the plan area.

This plan is available for review by resource agencies, First Nations and the public from October 3rd,  2007 to November 1st, 2007.  The plan may be modified as a result of written comments received by the end of the public review period.

The proposed amendment will be available for review during the dates shown, at the
Ka:'yu:'k't'h'/Che:k:tles7et'h' First Nation Band Office, Kyuquot,  BC.

A representative of Woodlot 1877 will be available to discuss the proposed amendment if advance notice is given.  If interested parties wish to view the proposed amendment but are unable to attend the Ka:'yu:'k't'h'/Che:k:tles7et'h' First Nation office, they should contact Ray Bartram to arrange a mutually suitable time and location, or arrange for a digital copy to be sent to them.
